What is early voting?

In 2022, Michigan voters passed Proposal 2 — the “Promote the Vote” initiative — guaranteeing every resident nine consecutive days to vote in person before Election Day. It's safe, secure, and it fits your schedule.

  • /Nine consecutive days of flexible, in-person access.
  • /Same tabulator, same ballot, same result as Election Day.
  • /Vote at any early voting center in the City of Detroit. Please note that on November 2, 2026, early voting is only available at the Department of Elections and City Clerk's Office.
